Turkestan International Airport (Turkestan-Kazakhstan)
The construction of the airport was completed in a record 11 months. It is the first airport in Kazakhstan and the region to be built from scratch after the Soviet period, making it a Greenfield airport.
Turkestan International Airport covers an area of 905 hectares and includes a 3,300 m runway, 2 taxiways, 1 service area, an apron large enough to accommodate 7 wide-body aircraft in the parking area, a 10,500 m2 airport terminal and 12,800 m2 of additional buildings. Turkestan International Airport can handle an annual passenger flow of 3 million people.
As Beacontact, we commissioned all the electronic construction technologies within a short period of 6 months and handed them over fully ready for the opening of the airport.
